Hard core Big Bore/about me

I am an avid hunter and outdoor enthusiest. I’m relatively new to the sport of big bore airguns but have shot and hunted with airguns on and off for the last 30 plus years. I am fascinated with the high powered big bores though and intend to do the majority of my hunting from now on with one of these in my hands. Of course, I will still continue to hunt with other methods like my bow or rifle since I respect and love both of those ways. When you do it with one of these airguns though it’s like the best of both worlds. It’s the style of close in hunting like archery as well as the importance of projectile trajectory and drop. Then you get the same familiar platform and precision as you would with a well made center fire, if not better. I built this site as a way to share my experiences, hunting stories, pictures, and what little information I may have on the sport with others who share the same passion for this sport. Maybe it will introduce someone new to the sport or entertain an old hand with a story or hunt. I hope the name of the site doesn’t portrait me as a know it all or as any type of authority Because of the name “Hard Core”. I am certainly not. But, my passion for hunting and the sport of air gunning is hard core, and I hope to promote it with a professional and ethical attitude. Please let me know what you think, Jim Fisher mtnfish
